3 down 1 to go

Three out of the four tables are complete! I did not have enough materials to start the last table so I will have to make a run to the local hardware store to get some more wood. The final table will be the 4x8 and will connect the two 2x8's together to complete the loop. I also still have to purchase foam board in order to start laying track and start scenery work.

Track Plan

This is a rough drawing of the proposed track plan. I am a high school senior who is still living at home so space for a layout was limited to a small storage room in the basement. The tables that the layout will be on are: 1 3x7, 1 4x8, and 2 2x8. The construction of the first three tables should be completed within the next day or so. I will upload pictures of the bench work as soon as it is finished.

Start of the Modern Day Omaha Belt Line

I am a N scale Modeler who is newer to the hobby and I am currently working on my Omaha Belt Line layout. The layout is not modeled after the city of Omaha but is simply named the Omaha Belt Line because it is where I live. I will try to keep you informed on the progress of the layout as often as I can.
