Finally an Update!

School is finally out which means I will have a lot more time to spend working on the layout! Right now I am waiting of the foam board for the layout but in the mean time I have begun playing around with some track configurations in the yard. The Yard will have 5 storage tracks, 3 Locomotive servicing tracks and 1 car repair track. Not all the track is laid out because I need to get some more from the local hobby shop.

As for the structures in the yard, I will be using the BLMA yard office, Walthers Railcar Restoration building for the Car repair shop and Walthers Car Shop as the locomotive facility. I have a gentleman by the name of DJ kit-bashing and detailing two of these kits together to form one long structure. He does a lot of nice work! Check his website out at http://www.djstrains.com or his YouTube page at http://www.youtube.com/user/djstrains

The three locomotive tracks at the far right. The next track is the track leading to the car shop. Then the next two are storage tracks. The middle two are the main line. In the bare space, there will be three more storage tracks.
